Detroit, MI–The Department of Natural Resources of Michigan has been accused of racial discrimination again after settling a suit with another employee. The second accusation stems from a sergeant who has claimed that he was hindered from promotion and advancement because of racial discrimination.
Both the Department as well the law enforcement division, which the new accusations arise from both have small numbers of black employees. Moreover, the number of black employees has declined since one year ago. The law enforcement division has a history of fear and intimidation.
If you have been a victim of discrimination in regards to your workplace, contact the Orange County Employment Lawyers of Perry Smith by visiting their website or by calling 888-356-2529.
